DutyFox — Privacy Policy

DutyFox ("the app") shows estimated import duties to shoppers on a merchant's storefront. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

Data we collect

• Shop data: your shop domain and an API access token, stored to operate the app while it is installed.
• Settings: your widget configuration (origin country, duty-rate overrides, display texts). A copy is stored as a metafield on your shop so your theme can read it.

Customer data

DutyFox does not read, store, or process any customer or order data. The storefront widget runs entirely in the shopper's browser and sends nothing to our servers.

Data deletion

Mandatory GDPR webhooks are implemented: when a shop requests erasure or uninstalls, all settings for that shop are deleted.
